

I had all the settings above done correctly, and only to find out (from reading this thread) that it was my Watchguard I came here to say this as well - I've been ripping my hair out with Exchange 2010, and not being able to figure out what the problem is/was. Exchange settings noted above were correct, the WatchGuard Firewall was the issue. I had a SMTP proxy that had a restriction on the total email size that I recently implemented. There is an article on Watchguard Support Forum that says outgoing SMTP should be set to use 'filtred packet' instead of 'proxies' as in incoming SMTP.įor me - this was the issue.
